Small Claims Courts Need to Increase Claim Amount to 10,000 Dollars

Many Small Claims courts in the United States allow you to sue up to five thousand dollar maximum amount of claim. Is it time to consider increasing the ceiling to ten thousand dollars given the fact that ten thousand dollars is not what it was years ago when the five thousand dollar limit was set?

Business claims should be sped through the courts instead of dragging small business people to court hearings and forcing small businesses to hire lawyers to deal with what for the most part are cut and dry cases of goods sold and delivered, work, labor or services as well as loans received and unpaid.

The banks will not lend money to small businesses, let the courts allow the small business person to recover money owed by deadbeats.
